About
Greetings,
Professionally, I am a web strategy consultant who has helped many companies grow by effectively using the Internet through my consulting and development work. I’m also an associate project manager at Earthsite, New Media for Sustainable Brands, where I work closely with a team of talented strategists, designers, and developers. I very much enjoy my work because I am always using my perspective as a sociologist and my knowledge as a MBA.
But I’m also a person outside of the web too. I enjoy traveling (check out my travel blog), any kind of sport particularly bowling, disc golf, basketball, swimming. I love photography too (check out my Photo Blog) and I’ve been writing more and that is exciting for me. Oh and I love music, check out what I’m listening to on Last.fm.
Current
Between project work from Earthsite and private consulting gigs, I’ve worked on a bunch of projects over these last few years. These projects may be on the Internet, but each project is a culmination of working with diverse groups of people from all over the world.
Education
Upon completing my undergraduate studies in Sociology, I decided to pursue a Masters degree in Business Administration. I feel the interest I have in sociological phenomenon is a perfect fit with understanding organizations and their effect on ‘quality of life’, as a consumer, an employee, species, and environment. The MBA program I choose was heavily focused on experience based learning, systems thinking, and building community, and was one of the first programs completely build around the concepts of sustainability, community and transformation.
Mission
My mission is to help passionate entrepreneurs to develop the core capacities to thrive on the web, and through that, build a network of successful stories and happy individuals from entrepreneur to end customer.
Vision
To increase the livelihood and marketability of thousands of individuals.
Values
My work ethic expands beyond my professional life, and I live with a high level of integrity, respect, kindness, and fairness. I believe in honest work and honest reporting.
